Platform
One platform across
the life of a match
From arranging a hit to a result landing in the rankings, every step happens on one data model. Players, pairings, scores and venues are captured once and reused throughout.

Events
Event management and draws
Clubs and organisers run entries, groups, draws, scoring and standings from a phone, with live progress visible to every participant.

Levels
Rankings and level estimates
Level estimates are derived solely from match results and update with every new match. Each player's level is shown alongside a confidence figure that grows with the number of matches played.
Each match starts with an expected outcome based on both sides' levels. Beating expectation raises your level, falling short lowers it — it is not just about winning
How reliable the opponent's level is, the score margin against expectation, whether the format was complete, and how recent the match is
Singles and doubles estimated and ranked separately
Full scores required; win/loss-only records are excluded
Per venue and per player group, updated as results come in

Organising play
Scheduling and the player network
Most amateur matches begin as an arranged hit. Match Note makes scheduling the starting point of the record: when the session ends, pairings and scores flow straight into each player's history.
Public sessions by city, with level requirement and open spots
Organisers can set a 2.0–4.5+ level to match similar players
Play calendar, singles/doubles win rates, head-to-head with regular partners

Data integrity
Trustworthy ratings start
with trustworthy results
Amateur matches rarely have umpires or official scorers. We apply rules at entry, correction and review so that every result reaching the rankings is genuine, complete and traceable.
R-01 · IDENTITY
One player, one identity
Each player is bound to a single WeChat account; event entries are linked through identity claiming, preventing name collisions and proxy records.
R-02 · VALIDATION
Rule-checked scores
Every set is checked against 6-game, 4-game and tiebreak rules at entry. Invalid scores cannot be saved.
R-03 · PARTIAL
Unfinished matches flagged
Matches stopped when court time runs out are explicitly flagged and never mixed with completed results.
R-04 · AUDIT
Reviewed, logged corrections
Post-match score changes are submitted as edit requests, take effect only after organiser approval, and are kept on record.
R-05 · REVIEW
Operational review
Suspicious scores and duplicate records are reviewed in our operations console; corrections trigger recalculation of affected rankings and ratings.
R-06 · SECURITY
Signed partner access
Partner data endpoints use HMAC request signing; secrets are held server-side only.
